Smart Inspect uses your device's GPS/Location to track where the inspection is taking place for our mapping feature. You are asked to enable location access when you first use Smart Inspect and can re-enable it a any time if it gets disabled
Instructions to Enable the GPS/Location
Apple Devices
Step 1: Open up your device settings
- Tap settings on your device (the gear icon)
Step 2: Scroll down and tap "Smart Inspect"
- Scroll down the page until you see "Smart Inspect" and then tap the icon
Step 3: Set Location Access to "While Using The App"
- Tap "Location" and then select the option that reads "While Using the App"
Android Devices
Step 1: Open up your device settings
- Tap settings on your device (the gear icon) and open up your list of apps
Step 2: Locate Smart Inspect in your app list
- Scroll down until you see Smart Inspect and tap on the icon
Step 3: Turn On Location Permissions
- Tap Permissions and then make sure location permissions are listed at "Only While App Is In Use" or "Always Allowed"
