New Smart Inspect users are required to create a password 24 hours after their account has been activated as part of their account setup. After 24 hours without user engagement, the following error message will appear in the top-right corner of the screen. 



Error Message - "API Token Has Expired"

Step 1: Tap "Forgot Password"

  • Tap "Forgot Password" and then enter an email address to generate a password reset email


Step 2: Check Your Email 

  • Check your inbox for an email labeled "Password Reset". Click "Reset Password" to open a form where you can create a password


Check your spam folder if you can't locate the email


Step 3: Create A New Password

  • Enter a new password in both fields and then tap "Reset Password"


Step 4: Login To Smart Inspect

  • Head back to the Smart Inspect login page and enter your email address and newly created password. Then tap "Login"
